Brandimarte
known simply as
“Brandi” to his closest friends. It issaid that
surnames are not necessary in the world of art. His surname was
Guscelli but he used it only for legal and official reasons.
Nothing
else.
Master
craftsman, talented silversmith, he always found in Nature his
inspiration. Agrestic motifs recur in the bas-reliefs on the silver
plates, goblets and bowls embossed and finely chiseled, which have
made him famous.
Brandimarte
bequeathed his wisdom, knowledge, and his extraordinary common sense
philosophy to his children.

Today there are his children : Stefano President
and Designer, and Giada.
In Florence, they chisel and sculpt amazing works
Silver for the kitchen table ends up in the homes of those who
appreciate true beauty. Not only the beauty that is seen by the eye,
but also the other sense that Brandimarte believes was too neglected
in our consumer driven society: The Touch.
Stefano, designer and owner, continues to convey the message that
his father conceived, namely that silver must be “lived: to cook
using silver pots and tools, to taste the fragrance of good wine in
a silver chalice will reveal itself as unique experience not to be
missed.”

In fact Brandimarte products are created to give special emphasis to
each and every moment of daily life. The barriers that inhibit the
use of silver products are dismantled and the emotions that this
precious metal conveys can be fully relished, from tableware to
furniture.
Thanks to their precious craftsmanship, as well as the inestimable
value of the metal, Brandimarte silver products are ranked among the
most important Italian brands and recognised all over the world.

“and it’s alive,
it is the only living metal after mercury. It has a certain
feminine aspect to it, that is present in every one of us, it is
nocturnal, beloved by Diana. It reminds me of childhood, reminds me
of cowboys’ pistols, the sheriff’s badge, and hearts of statues of
the Virgin Mary”
