Brandimarte
known simply as
“Brandi” to his closest friends. It issaid that
surnames are not necessary in the world of art. His surname was
Guscelli but he used it only for legal and official reasons. Nothing
else. Today there are his children : Stefano President
and Designer, and Giada.
Brandimarte bequeathed his wisdom, knowledge, and his extraordinary
common sense philosophy to his children. In Florence, they chisel
and sculpt amazing works of art out in silver. Although these works
emanate a certain style which is impossible to imitate, they always
clearly mantain the Florentine craftsman’s tradition of simplicity.
